Prelude to Christmas 2011
Imagine women inviting other women to our church home for a lovely, Christ-centered Christmas program. As ladies arrive, gentlemen greet them, providing free valet parking. Upon entering our church home they are welcomed with the glow of candlelight and the warmth of Christmas. They are seated at beautifully decorated tables, with seven other women, where dessert is served followed by a delightful program of music and our guest speaker, Beth Nagel. The preceding paragraph describes Faith Baptist Women's Ministries annual "Prelude to Christmas", and it is fast approaching. Here are the details: When & Where: Sunday, December 4th, 6:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Fellowship.
Why: The primary evangelistic objective is to share the love of Christ with those who do not know Jesus, and of course to encourage women who know and serve Him.
How: Seating is by advance ticket sales only. Cost is $7 each. Hosting tickets will be available for purchase on Sunday, November 6th, after the first service and just prior to the second service. General tickets will be available for purchase beginning Sunday, November 13th.
We Need: 30 women to hostess tables for the event. Each table has a hostess, whose responsibilities include bringing dishes, setting her table, and welcoming those seated at her table. Sign up will be on Sunday, November 6th or by calling Evonne Vilhauer at 941-5505 by November 13th.
We Need: MEN, MEN, and MEN!!! Men to help with valet parking, men to help serve in the kitchen and men who can help with table and chair set-up and take down. Sign up for the men is available at the Promotion Center.
We Need: Door prizes. If you would like to contribute to the door prizes, please call Dee Peterson, 940-1194. We Need: A live tree to adorn the foyer. Please contact Nancy Schaefer, 336-9690, if you would like to donate or sponsor a live tree. We especially need to pray that this holiday outreach for our women is honoring to God and is Christ-centered. Please pray for how you can be a part of this ministry.
