Spring 2012 Bible Study Opportunities

“Luke: Finding Truth and Healing In Jesus’ Words to Women” by Sue Edwards
Tuesdays, starting February 7, 7:00-8:30 pm

In the gospel of Luke, Christ often ministered to women, offering them compassion and teaching them how to overcome problems. In this study, Edwards highlights specific conversations Jesus had with women to show today’s woman how to free herself from these same troubles by replacing negative feelings and destructive behaviors with biblical attitudes and positive actions.

“The Truth Project”
Thursdays, starting February 9, 9:00-10:45 am

This study from Focus on the Family looks at life from a biblical perspective. Barna Research Group recently revealed a shocking statistic that only 9% of professing Christians actually have a biblical world view. Today’s believers and unbelievers live very similar lives. The Truth Project is a powerful study that discusses the relevance and the importance of living the biblical world view in daily life.  (Childcare is available for the Thursday morning Bible study)
